Elevate Door & Trim was born out of the frustration we had as homeowners trying to buy doors for our homes. The only options available were the big box store, with its limited selection and mixed customer service ( try asking three people the same question and be prepared for three different answers), or finding, vetting, and hiring a general contractor and adding cost and complexity to your project!
We started Elevate to offer central Florida homeowners, installers, and renovation businesses a wide selection of customized and off-the-shelf doors, trim, hardware, and molding solutions. We also work hard to educate our customers to help them understand the choices and options available to make an informed decision. Our focus is on providing the highest quality service and offering a great selection of quality products at affordable prices.

Meet Woodgrain Doors
In 1954, Merrill “Bud” Dame made his living as a long haul trucker, accepted sawmill equipment from a customer who owed him a significant amount of money. Bud had no experience or background in the wood business and only a high school education, but he also had an entrepreneurial spirit. Bud learned how to use the equipment and began producing lumber and mouldings during the week. He loaded the product onto his truck and began personally hauling them to his customers.
Dame Moulding and Lumber quickly grew, and by 1969, it moved its corporate offices to Fruitland, Idaho, where it still operates today. The company was renamed Woodgrain, and Bud's sons Reed and Kelly took over and built the company into a highly successful, multi-product company.
